A business at the early stages of almost all fields of the business ecosystem requires a pathway specific to its geographical location, size, industry, capital resources at hand & available as loans, etc. All the data can be loaded to carve out a plan or long equation with variables moving in certain tolerances at an upper and lower threshold to map out possible scenarios related to profit, risk, threat & vulnerability, sustainability, stakeholder relationship, productivity, hrm, strategic positioning in the market, etc. Let's look at a few possible reasons among 1000s that can lead to a startup's immediate or gradual demise.

We can understand that avoiding such or other possible phenomenal mistakes conducted unknowingly will ultimately lead to a successful startup. Bitter but the truth is it's not the case always. The best example that comes to mind is the one of a tailor who has been assigned to sew the garment with limitations in place whether it be of time or cloth or fitting or measurement frequency etc and now either the art begins or hit-&-trial begins depending entirely onto the leadership skills of CEO Mr. Taylor (Tailor).

Resources exhaust quicker or our expectations or stakeholder's expectations is a myth or an experiment no startup will wish to conduct. That is why the founder of the State of Pakistan said “Think 100 times before you make a decision but once you have decided then stick with it”. It also can be connected to another famous quote “If you fail to plan you are planning to fail” by Benjamin Franklin. Both M Ali and Benjamin emphasized the eminence of the management plan.

Startup management if aligned with business core principles then could have resilience and sustainability scope as the prime leader will not be a mere CEO but rather business philosophy & science itself.
